Incident at WHITEHORSE/ ERIK NIELSEN INTL (CYXY)

Summary

2005-04-01: The pilot of N6522A, a Cessna 180, was on the takeoff roll on Runway 13R at Whitehorse when there was some difficulty with the landing gear, causing the a/c to ground loop. There was damage to the gear and one wing tip but there were no injuries to the pilot. TSB was notified and the pilot received permission to remove the aircraft from the runway. There was no impact on airport operations. Emergency Services were called out to the scene.
