Summary

2005-04-08: UPDATE It was reported that a wheel broke off of a sweeper while it was being used to clean the runway surface. The operator was forced to stop and readjust the wheel unit and pick up the failed part. The operator was then able to exit the runway . The Slave Air Beechcraft was the only air traffic that suffered a delay due to this event. The wheel was replaced and the sweeper was returned to service.
2005-03-21: A City Centre airport truck broke down on Runway 34 when C-FSAT, a Beech King Air, was on approach. The King Air overshot the runway while the truck was resuscitated and could exit the runway. The a/c subsequently landed a short time later.
