Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)

Summary

2005-03-15: PAG 416, a Metro II with 11 people on board, was en route from Shamattawa to Thompson when the crew declared an emergency due to one engine having to be shut down. AFF was called out and was on standby as the flight landed safely at 1944Z. TSB reported that the right engine (Garrett TPE 331-10) fuel control malfunctioned. A precautionary shutdown was completed and the flight returned for landing with ARFF on standby.
