2005-04-15: UPDATE Aerodromes & Air Navigation personnel contacted the company regarding these two events. The airport area manager for commercial operations at a number of sites which includes Gjoa Haven will be contacting the Company office manager at Gjoa. They will review all airside requirements for ground based vehicles and ensure that if the rotating beacons are not working that the vehicle operators advise the CARS person prior to proceeding on to the ramp. The operators should turn on the vehicle four way flashers if their rotating beacons are broken or not working because of extreme cold temperatures.
