Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2005-02-24: During climbout from Calgary, CJT 1891, a B727, struck a bird. The crew elected to continue to Vancouver. Airport staff recovered the inert remains of a pigeon.
2005-03-17: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the crew of Cargojet Airways CJT1891 a Boeing 727 reported striking a bird shortly after departing runway 28 at Calgary Intl. Bird and wildlife personnel recovered the remains a Rock Dove from the runway. The crew elected to carry on their destination of Vancouver where an after flight inspection revealed a minor dent in the aircraft's radome. This event did not cause any interruption of air traffic in the Calgary area.
