Incident at HIGH LEVEL AB (CYOJ) (Overshoot/missed approach, Conflict - potential, Alleged Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) infraction)
2005-02-10: C-GPJR, a Piper Arrow, was on a left hand pattern to Runway 31 at High Level and KBA 105, a Beech King Air, was on a long final to Runway 31. The pilots of both aircraft were aware of each other. C-GPJR turned on final in front of KBA 105, causing the latter to do a 360 degree turn for spacing before rejoining final. KBA 105 was 3 NM final when C-GPJR landed and decided to roll to the end rather than backtrack. FSS requested that KBA 105 pull up and advised C-GPJR to backtrack to Taxiway A. KBA 105 eventually landed safely on Runway 31.
