Incident at FORT MCMURRAY AB (CYMM)

Summary

2005-02-18: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the nose oleo was low on fluid and did not fully extend after takeoff. Subsequently, the air/ground squat swich located on the nose gear did not go into air mode, so various systems did not operate properly. The flight returned, the nose oleo was serviced and the a/c was re-dispatched. A Service Difficulty report was not submitted.
2005-02-09: On departure from Fort McMurray for Edmonton City Centre, the crew of AM 301 indicated that there was a mechanical problem and that they were returning. No assistance was required. The aircraft landed at 1355Z. One departure was delayed for five minutes.
