2005-03-14: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the pilot was with the use of the aircraft landing lights and runway lead-in lights able to land on runway 30 without incident. The FIC( Flight Information Centre) at Edmonton issued a NOTAM regarding the failure of the runway edge lights one hour after the pilot of C-GCDZ had reported the unserviceability. Personnel from the Swift Current Airport reported that the area experienced a mild spell which resulted in a heavy snow melt, water then accumulated in and around the runway electrical pulpits.
