Incident at GRANDE PRAIRIE AB (CYQU)
2005-02-09: UPDATE TSB reported that the Beech 1900D, C-FCMN, was in cruise flight from Fort St. John to Edmonton when the crew noticed the oil pressure dropping on the left engine (Pratt & Whitney PT6A-67D). After a precautionary shut down of the engine, a diversion to Grande Prairie was requested and the flight landed without incident. Maintenance was unable to determine the cause of the oil loss, and replenished the reservoir before releasing the aircraft for flight.
2005-01-31: GLR 796, a Beech 1900 with 15 people on board, was en route from Fort St. John to Edmonton and about 25 NM northwest of Grande Prairie when the aircraft reportedly lost fuel pressure in one engine. JZA 8377, a DHC-8 inbound from Calgary, was held for about 10 minutes to accommodate GLR 796. TSB will contact the company.
