Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2005-01-27: Between 2216Z and 2224Z, 3 different aircraft in the vicinity of the Calgary airport received faint ELT signals which were believed to have originated from the airport. A technician had to be sent out to check the field and at 0050Z, the ELT signal was located and turned off. It came from N453LA, a parked Metro III, located in AVMAX hangar and the ELT had been turned on accidentally.
