Incident at SASKATOON / JOHN G. DIEFENBAKER INTL SK (CYXE) (Aerodrome - other)

Summary

2005-02-23: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the Manager of the Imperial refueling facility who holds a valid AVOP was on the apron area in the company Tug when a request by the crew of an American registered Lear Jet requested assistance. The aircraft had become disabled at taxiway Alpa and Foxtrot with frozen brakes. Since the aircraft's position was directly in front of the refueling facility and because the tow operator heard the crew tell the ground controller that a tug was on its way. The operator didn't think it was necessary to call ground and advise them of the situation. There were no other air or ground traffic inconvenienced due to this event.
2005-01-26: Saskatoon Tower reported that an ESSO fuel truck entered Taxiway Alpha without authorization.
