Incident at GRANDE PRAIRIE AB (CYQU) (ATM - NAVAIDS/radar)

Summary

2005-01-25: The Grande Prairie FSS beacon monitoring system for the NDB failed as CNK 560, a Cessna Citation, was on final approach to the airport. The NDB is the FAF for non-precision approaches to Runway 29. Weather at the time was -X 1/2 in fog. CNK 560 was able to continue their approach using the ILS, which was back in service after an outage yesterday (CADORS 2005C0194).
