Incident at IQALUIT NU (CYFB)

Summary

2005-01-24: Three minutes after departing Iqaluit airport for Hall Beach, the crew of FAB 2802, a HS 748, informed FSS that they were cancelling IFR and returning to the airport due to gear and pressurization problems. ARFF assistance was declined and no emergency was declared. The aircraft landed without incident at 2055Z.
2005-01-31: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the nose landing gear indicated down and locked with the gear up. Heat was applied to the down lock switch to thaw and dry out the switch. The pressurization dump valve was also thawed out and the aircraft was returned to service
