Incident at IQALUIT NU (CYFB)


2005-01-18: FAB 802, a HS 748, departed Iqaluit for Igloolik and when the flight was 25 NM north of YFB, the crew diverted the flight back to YFB due to unspecified mechanical problem. No emergency was declared or assistance required. Maintenance and Manufacturing (Ontario) reported that after takeoff, the crew had a 'fuel flow issue'. The fuel flow computer was replaced and an over-weight landing inspection was carried prior to return to service.
