Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)

Summary

2005-01-19: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that company maintenance carried out an elevator Trim Sync Test and found the Trim Sync to be out of phase. The trim was re-synchronized and the Warning Electrical Unit was re-racked. Two full power runs were carried out and the system functioned normally with no warnings. The aircraft was released to service.
2005-01-17: The crew of the Saab 340, CAV 7523, rejected their takeoff on Runway 23 at Thompson due to a 'configuration warning'. They backtracked to the threshold of Runway 23 to attempt to fix the problem, but taxied off the runway at 0027Z. The flight departed an hour later at 0132Z.
