Summary

2005-01-17: The crew of the Canadair RJ, AWI 533, discontinued their approach to Runway 31 at Winnipeg due to a flap problem and orbited near the airport VFR to try and correct the situation with their flaps. The flight returned for a safe landing on Runway 18 18 minutes later at 2030Z. No AFF was required and no other a/c were inconvenienced.
