Summary

2005-01-17: FAB 820, an ATR 42-300, departed Iqaluit for Clyde River, but the crew advised that they were returning to YFB due to a 'mechanical problem'. They did not declare an emergency or require assistance. The flight Landed safely at 1623Z. The nature of the problem is not known.
2005-01-18: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that after takeoff, normal pitch trim was in-operative. Maintenance carried out the job inspection card task for the failure and no fault was found.
