Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2005-01-20: UPDATE TSB reported that the Skywest Airlines Inc. Bombardier CL-600-2B19(RJ), N417SW, was operating as flight SKW 3975 from Salt Lake City, Utah to Calgary, AB. During the approach, the flaps would not extend. The flight crew requested ARFF to stand by for the zero flap landing. Maintenance re-set the flap control system and the aircraft was released back into service.
2005-01-17: SKW 3975, a Canadair RJ, was on approach at Calgary after a flight from Salt Lake City when the crew reported that they were unable to extend the flaps and advised they would do a high-speed landing. ARFF equipment was requested. The aircraft landed safely at 0022Z. TSB will contact the company.
