Incident at EMPRESS AB (CYEA)

Summary

2005-01-17: JZA 8504, a Canadair RJ, was en route from Calgary to Winnipeg and when the flight was east of Empress, the crew returned to YYC with an 'equipment problem'. They did not require priority or ARFF equipment. The aircraft landed without incident at 2335Z.
2005-01-19: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufactuing reported that one of the aircraft's airspeed indicators was providing inaccurate information. After return to YYC, maintenance purged the pitot lines and the system checked serviceable.
