Summary

2005-01-13: FAB 802, a HS 748, departed Iqaluit for Hall Beach and when the flight was 30 NM north of YFB, the crew elected to return due to an unspecified mechanical problem. There was no urgency or priority. The flight landed uneventfully at 1839Z.
2005-01-18: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the Janitrol heater failed after takeoff and the aircraft returned to YFB. Following replacement of the heater and an over-weight landing inspection, the aircraft was returned to service.
