Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2005-01-07: NCB 314, a Cessna 441, departed Calgary IFR to Fort St. John and shortly after takeoff, the pilot advised that he would have to return due to an open door. The flight was brought back for landing on Runway 34 and the pilot indicated that he did not need assistance. Calgary was very busy at the time due to weather and traffic and the airport was operating with a single runway. Delays were encountered and the runway had to be checked following the incident. Flow control measures were also being implemented at the time due to weather.
