Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH) (ATS operating irregularity)


2005-01-06: SGK 325, a Cessna 402, departed Thompson on a VFR flight at 0019Z. SGK 325 then had its flight plan closed inadvertently by Winnipeg FIC at 0035Z, upon a receipt of an arrival message from Thompson FSS. The arrival should have been for another Skyward flight, SGK 752. As a result, SGK 325 went without alerting service from 0035Z until its actual arrival at 0220Z.
