Incident at WINNIPEG / JAMES ARMSTRONG RICHARDSON INTL MB (CYWG)
2005-01-04: PAG 208, a Metro II, was en route from Gods Lake Narrows to Winnipeg and when the flight was 150 NM north of YWG, the crew declared an emergency due to an engine problem. The flight landed safely at 1908Z with AFF on standby. One a/c was delayed 3 minutes on departure. TSB will contact the company.
2005-01-07: UPDATE TSB reported that the Perimeter Aviation Swearingen SA226-TC (Metro), registration C-FSLZ, operating as PAG 208, was en route from Gods Lake Narrows, MB, to Winnipeg, MB. The right engine oil pressure warning light illuminated and the crew noted the right engine oil pressure decreasing through 40 psi. The crew shut down the right engine as a precautionary measure. PAG 208 landed safely at Winnipeg with ARFF alerted. Company maintenance found a cracked oil breather line.
