Incident at IQALUIT NU (CYFB)

Summary

2005-01-06: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that at the top of the climb, a stick shaker/pusher fault indicated. Maintenance determined that the fault was caused by a sticking angle of attack sensor. The sensor was lubricated and the aircraft returned to service.
2005-01-04: FAB 820, an ATR 42, departed Iqaluit (YFB) for Clyde River and when the flight was 65 NM east of YFB, Montreal ACC advised Iqaluit FSS that the flight was returning to YFB. The crew made initial contact with the FSS 63 miles out of YFB and informed that no assistance was required, it was only a 'maintenance problem.' The aircraft landed safely at 2048Z, no impact on other traffic.
