Incident at IQALUIT NU (CYFB)

Summary

2005-01-04: D-EIPD, a Beech 35, departed Iqaluit for Kuujjuaq and shortly after takeoff, the pilot reported that he was unable to retract the landing gear. The pilot circled the airport and asked for visual confirmation from FSS. After two attempts, the gear came up and the pilot continued on course to his destination. No impact or delay to other aircraft.
