Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2005-12-30: N82EC, Beech B60, enroute from Teterboro (KTEB) to Fredericton (CYFC), landed on Runway 09 at 2139Z. Pilot advised FSS that while taxing to the ramp he might have hit a runway edge light on the right side of Runway 09. TK88 checked runway and confirmed there were three lights broken. Pilot was advised. There was no damage to the aircraft. Pilot advised upon landing that he hydroplaned to the edge of the runway. TSB Case Closed.
2006-01-05: UPDATE TSB: A05A0163: N82EC, a Beech B60 on a ferry flight from Teterboro to Fredericton, had landed on Runway 09 and, while taxiing to the ramp, advised Fredericton FSS that they may have struck a right-side runway edge light. Airport ground personnel inspected the runway and found that three runway edge lights had been damaged. The pilot reported minor scratches on the aircraft and there were no injuries. The weather conditions at Fredericton at the time of the incident was ceiling and visibility partially obscured 1000 broken ¾ statute mile in fog; winds 080 at four knots; RVR 2800 feet. It had been raining for most of the day.
