Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

Summary

2005-12-30: CJA135, Boeing 737-500, enroute from Halifax (CYHZ) to Toronto (CYYZ) reported a possible bird strike on departure. Subsequent inspection of the runway revealed one dead snow bunting. TCU relayed message to CJA135. Nil TSB.
2006-01-09: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: CanJet maintenance in Toronto carried out a Bird Strike inspection and found evidence of a small bird strike. There were no defects found relating to this event. The aircraft was then returned to service.
