Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2005-12-23: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: Maintenance checked all systems and no problems found. Ground runs and test flight carried out but problem did not repeat. They are still investigating and will provide update if cause determined. An SDR has been submitted.
2005-12-21: C-GPNB, Beech C90A, enroute from Pokemouche (CDA4) to Fredericton (CYFC), reported technical problems on final for Runway 27, executed a missed approach, and cancelled IFR. Moncton advised. C-GPNB subsequently reported shutting down left engine due to being unable to reduce engine power below a certain level. ARFF responded. Aircraft landed safely at 1225Z. Moncton Shift Manager advised at 1230Z. Nil TSB.
