Incident at GANDER INTL NL (CYQX)

Summary

2005-12-07: XASIM, F900, enroute from Gander (CYQX) to Toluca (MMTO) departed Runway 31 at approximately 1900Z. On initial contact with Gander Area Control Center the pilot advised ATC that he was requesting a clearance to return to Gander airport for landing due to the landing gear door not closing. The pilot indicated that there were no problems with the landing gear itself and no emergency was declared. Aircraft was re-cleared to Gander and landed at 1912Z without further incident. Nil TSB.
