Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2005-11-14: C-GUNB Cessna 172 taxied onto ramp after circuits to change pilots. On restart FSS noticed burst of flame from front cowling. FSS called C-GUNB to advise with no answer. FSS called fire hall and RED 4 responded. Pilot advised RED 4 that fire was due to rich mixture on startup and there were no problems. GUNB departed for local flight over city. Nil TSB.
