Incident at LOACH (ATS operating irregularity)

Summary

2005-10-13: TSB Update: The eastbound Piper Navajo (N456BD) at 13,000 had been cleared to LOACH, then 58N 50W. The aircraft progressed to LOACH then reported estimating 59N 50W next. The route difference was not detected by the controller until after the aircraft was past 59N 50W. There was no traffic in the vicinity, however safety was not assured. Nav Canada is investigating.
2005-10-11: N456BD, Piper PA31 enroute from Goose Bay (CYYR) to Narsarsuaq (BGBW) cleared LOACH 58/50 SI NA progressed LOACH estimating 59/50 next. Route difference not detected by controller until aircraft progressed 59/50. Separation not assured. No traffic. TSB Case Closed.
