Incident at J.A. DOUGLAS MCCURDY SYDNEY AIRPORT

Summary

2005-10-11: GGN7487, Beech 1900D, enroute from Sydney (CYQY) to Halifax (CYHZ), departed Runway 01 at 1502Z. The pilot reported that they might have had a bird strike on departure. The Commissionaire was dispatched onto Runway 01 and the remains of one small to medium sized bird were retrieved. The pilot was notified that remains were found on the runway. The pilot was also encouraged to file a bird strike report upon landing. Nil TSB.
