Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT)


2005-09-22: TITAN22, C130, enroute from Keflavik (BIKF) to Cunningham Field (KNKT) at time 1555Z, position 5717N045W, declared an emergency due loss of number 3 engine. Aircraft descended from 22,000 ft to 20,000 ft. No traffic. Requested present position direct to St. John's (CYYT). ATC cleared aircraft as requested. At time 1820Z aircraft advised left landing gear would not extend and requested to hold at 3,000 ft. ATC cleared aircraft as requested. At time 1829Z aircraft advised left gear down and landed at CYYT without further incident at time 1836Z. Nil TSB.
