Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

Summary

2005-09-22: GGN7493, Beech 1900 enroute from Sydney (CYQY) to Halifax (CYHZ) was level at 14,000 ft. when exterior windshield shattered. Pilot stated negative bird strike. Inside windshield was ok. No assistance required. ADM, ERS advised. Aircraft landed safely on Runway 32 at 1640Z. TSB Case Closed.
2005-09-23: TSB Update: C-GAAU, a Beech 1900 aircraft, operating as GGN7493, was level at 14,000ft en route from Sydney to Halifax when an exterior windshield shattered (inside windshield ok). Pilot advised ATC and said no assistance required. Aircraft landed Halifax without further incident. This aircraft had been struck by debris blown up by the jet blast from a taxing 737 aircraft in Halifax the previous day, (A05A0121).
