Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)
2005-09-23: TSB Update: Shortly after C-FDCU, a Boeing 737-500 aircraft, operating as CJA173, had departed Halifax en route to Montreal, company operations informed the Halifax tower that a small engine panel had come off the aircraft. The field foreman inspected the departure runway but the panel was not found. Company maintenance reported that the missing panel was from the upper pylon and is normally secured with four cam-lock fasteners. They suspect that the fasteners had not been secured properly.
