Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

Summary

2005-09-09: Maintenance and Manufacturing Update:The aircraft was on approach into YHZ with 15-25 degree selected when this occurred. Maintenance in YHZ replaced the flap position indicator and cycled the flaps several times for troubleshooting and fault detection. The flaps operated as required and the aircraft was released back to service. This defect has not reoccurred since that time.
2005-09-01: CJA156, Boeing 737-500, enroute from Ottawa (CYOW) to Halifax (CYHZ) on approach to Halifax pilot advised terminal he had a flap problem. Aircraft pulled up and landed on the second approach. No emergency declared. Nil TSB.
