Summary

2005-08-25: A stick on warning label made of thin metal was retrieved from Runway 03 approximately 4,000 feet from the threshold. The dimensions of the metal label were 12 inches by 8 inches. The wording on the panel was ?Landing Gear Doors Will Close If Hydraulic Pressure Is Applied to Aircraft. Whenever Working Near Open Landing Gear Doors Insert Door Lock Pins?. A part number on the label was 81171034-103. Numerous aircraft arrived and departed Runway 03 between the time of the last runway inspection and the time the label was discovered on the runway.
