Incident at ST. STEPHEN NB (CCS3) (ATM - other)

Summary

2005-08-08: C-FNAL enroute from Sherbrooke (CYSC) to St. Stephen (CCS3) CommSearch was initiated at 1915Z as aircraft was approaching overdue status (ETA 1845Z). RCC was advised via telephone (approximately 1921Z), the aircraft became overdue at 1945Z, and the flight plan transmitted via AFTN at 1951Z. When contacted, CYSJ FSS advised the aircraft had arrived CYSJ at 1904Z to refuel, and departed for Digby (CYID) at 1922Z. No further information was uncovered. CommSearch terminated at 2145Z - aircraft not located at this time. RCC advised aircraft arrived CYID at 2258Z. Nil TSB.
2005-08-08: CACO Update: CFNAL (443702N, 0654602W - Sherbrooke to St. Stephen. Halifax FIC reported that a R44 Helocopter CFNAL with 2 persons on board was overdue on arrival. Verified Flight plan from Sherbrooke to St. Stephen. After in-depth investigation was carried out with nil results, multiple assets were tasked. Aircraft found safe on approach to Digby NS at 2241Z.
