Summary

2005-08-08: N95409 Cessna 172R enroute from Bangor (KBGR) to Goose Bay (CYYR) conducted a VFR flight into Canadian airspace without an active flight plan. The aircraft departed KBGR and arrived CYYR at 1932Z. KBGR FSS confirms the pilot had filed a VFR flight plan with a proposed ETD of 1400Z, but that the pilot had not contacted KBGR FSS to activate the flight plan. Nil TSB.
