Incident at Dover, Delaware


2005-08-08: RCH9016 C-5 Galaxy enroute from Dover (KDOV) to Ramstein routing 45N050W 48N040W at 29,000 ft. The pilot declared an emergency due to a loss of cabin pressure and descended from 29,000 ft to 23,000 ft while executing contingency procedures. The pilot requested to return to KDOV and was cleared as requested via direct RAFIN, and subsequently was cleared to 10,000 ft at pilot?s request. There was no traffic. Nil TSB.
