Incident at GAGETOWN

Summary

2005-11-15: General Aviation Update: The Flight Training Unit has investigated this CADOR and determined there may be a discrepancy regarding the depiction of CYR724 on ATS radar and VFR navigation charts. A previous investigation by the Enforcement Branch determined that a ""buffer zone"" is depicted on radar that is not identified on the VNC. This ""buffer zone"" enlarges the CYR on radar creating the appearance that aircraft are entering the area when in fact, according to VFR navigation charts and ground references, they are not.
2005-08-02: At 1357Z, C-GMFI enroute from Moncton (CYQM) to Fredericton (CYFC) entered NE corner of CYR724, FSS advised Range Control. After noticing C-GMFI inside CYR724. Range Control advised no live firing currently in progress. FSS also advised aircraft who then exited CYR724 at 1401Z. Nil TSB.
