Incident at CYR 724 Camp Gagetown near Fredericton NB

Summary

2005-07-21: JZA8692 Canadair RJ-200 enroute from Toronto (CYYZ) to Saint John (CYSJ) was cleared for an approach and changed to Saint John FSS at approximately 45 miles north west of the airport. The flight continued on the airway (J506) until approximately 25 miles from the airport at which time the pilot turned left to intercept a clockwise arc for an approach to runway 23. His flight path infringed on CYR724, entering the southern most tip of the restricted airspace for approximately 1 minute. The controller relayed a vector via the FSS to expedite the departure from the restricted area. Nil TSB
