Summary

2005-07-18: RCH370 C5 Galaxy enroute Gulfport (KGPT) to ROTA (LERT) at 29,000ft climbing to 33,000 advised of pressurization problems. Aircraft requested descent to 22,000 ft and clearance direct to Bangor (KBGR). Cleared as requested. No emergency declared. No assistance required. Nil traffic. At 0245Z RCH370 in Moncton FIR approximately 80NM SE of Sydney (CYQY) shutdown the #1 engine, declared an emergency, and requested to divert to Stephenville (CYJT). Cleared as requested. Info Passed to YHZ RCC. RCH370 landed CYJT safely at 0327Z. Nil TSB
