Incident at 40NM east of 50N050W


2005-07-18: BAW229, Boeing 767-3003, London (EGLL) to Baltimore (KBWI). At time 1655Z position 40NM east of 50N050W pilot declared an Emergency due smoke in cabin and requested to descend to 9500 ft and divert to Gander (CYQX). Aircraft was under radar coverage and cleared by ATC to descend and direct to CYQX. Flight landed at Gander without further incident at time 1739Z. TSB Case Closed
