Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2005-07-07: GGN321 Beech 1900 enroute Montreal Mirabel (CYMX) to Moncton (CYQM), approaching Moncton, the pilot determined that both gyros were unserviceable and had to rely solely on the magnetic compass. After unsuccessfully attempting an approach at Moncton the pilot requested a clearance to Halifax, where the weather was VFR. Enroute the pilot declared a PAN and subsequently landed without incident at Halifax, at 1346Z. TSB Case Closed.
