Summary

2005-07-04: CKS625 Boeing 747-100 enroute from Newark (KEWR) to Amsterdam (EHAM), position 80 nautical miles northeast of Gander (CYQSX) at 31,000 ft. requested to divert to CYQX due to high oil consumption in #3 engine. Pilot dumpted fuel and at 00:30Z advised shutting down #3 engine and declaring an emergency. No assistance required. Landed without further incident at 00:41Z. TSB Case Closed
