Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT)

Summary

2005-06-08: TSB Update:A05A0064: The Boeing 767-300 aircraft was being pushed pack from the gate when the tow bar disconnected from the tractor. The tractor driver, who was in radio contact with the flight deck, gave the command ""Disconnected Brake"" to the flight deck and the flight crew applied brakes to bring the aircraft to a sudden stop. As a result of the sudden stop, two flight attendants received minor injuries. The airport fire hall responded to the incident and attended to the flight attendants. One of the two flight attendants was able to continue with the flight attendant duties on that flight. The other flight attendant has since returned to work
2005-06-06: ACA861 B767-300 was pushing back on the ramp in St. John""s (CYYT) enroute to Halifax (CYHZ) at 1932Z when the aircraft came to a sudden stop. As a result a flight attendant was injured. The airport firehall responded to the aircraft. The attendant did not deplane. ACA861 departed CYYT at 2008Z. TSB Case Closed
