Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2005-06-03: Maintenance & Manufacturing update: This occurred on May 17th the crew was about to depart YQM with aircraft C-GAHB. They powered up and began their rollout. Before reaching 10 knots the takeoff warning sounded. The crew elected to abort take-off and leave the runway to confirm the aircraft configuration (speed brake position, park brake etc...) After doing so, they proceeded to the runway and departed without any further problems. Reliability system/program for this defect was reviewed nothing found anything similar for this aircraft.
2005-05-19: The pilot of Canjet 2556, Boeing 737, rejected take-off on runway 11 at Moncton shortly after commencing his take-off roll due to a warning light. A/C cleared to back track, pilot advised all was OK and departed at 0216Z.
