Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2005-05-12: At 2010z, CGMFE, a Diamond DV20, on departure runway 09, reported unauthorized pedistrian walking in grass area on north side of runway 09. Through Binoculars, FSS observed young male walking towards north fence along runway 09. Male threw red knapsack over fence, then climbed over fence to outside perimeter. Red 5 dispatched but did not find anyone. Moncton ACC Shift Manager advised, also Commissionaires advised. Nil TSB.
2005-05-16: Update # 1 Aerodromes and Airspace : The fence was found to be in good condition . Two addional No Trespassing signs have been added to the airport property . The RCMP are to be notified .
