Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2005-05-03: Red5 while performing an AVOP test at 1740Z encroached within 150 feet of runway 09/27 on runway 33 while GGN7475 B1900 was on final runway 27 in Fredericton from Halifax. The vehicle had been instructed to hold short. GGN7475 queried if the vehicle was holding short. Nil TSB
2005-05-16: Update # 1 Aerodromes and Air Navigation: During an AOVP test the vehicle approached within 200 feet of a runway. The training process has been revisited and changes have been incorporated which include: 1. More orientation with Instructor required before testing. 2. Introduced mandatory quarterly testing for anyone who is not a regular airside operator.
